la corda o cintino per tapparella è lo strumento principale di un avvolgitore e di avvolgibili con sistema di apertura e chiusura manuale.
La corda per tapparelle può essere in nylon o in cotone e la sua lunghezza varia a seconda dell'altezza del vano, in cui verrà installata. Solitamente 5 metri sono sufficienti per una finestra e 7 per un balcone.

- infilare la nuova cinghia nel passacinghia vicino all’avvolgitore.
- Far girare il tamburo dell'avvolgibile in modo tale da caricare completamente la molla che si trova al suo interno.
- Fissare la cinghia tenendo fermo il tamburo con l'accortezza di non lasciarla andare di colpo.
